Dia Del Galgo

Manifestation in Bruges on February 4, 2024 on the occasion of World Galgo Day 

Why? 

On Sunday, February 4, 2024, a silent procession will take place in the center of Bruges to draw attention to the suffering of Spanish greyhounds and to demand an end to hunting with galgos and other breeds, following the example of many Spanish cities and towns and other cities in Europe. 

Where? 

We gather at 't Zand from 1:30 PM. Paid parking is available under the square. After the group photo we leave promptly at 2:00 PM for about an hour at a slow pace. The parade ends at the departure point.
